As spring is right around the corner, so is fresh fruits and veggies! Although fruit and veggies are an essential part of everyone’s diet-they also have the potential to be covered in pesticides or chemicals.
That is why today’s nutrition tip is how to effectively + safely clean your family’s fresh produce!
Fill a clean + chemical free bowl with water
Add 4 Tablespoons of White Vinegar per 1 gallon of water
Submerge produce in mixture
Let soak for ten to fifteen minutes [water will appear dirty-that is okay!]
Extract produce and rinse with water
