The Optimist Club is a great organization that firstly believe in making the world a better place by being positive! Founded in 1919 they have a long track record of helping the community.
When I was going through cancer treatment when I was 13 some optimists came to visit the hospital and it truly did uplift my day. There are over 2500 clubs try reaching out to one or tell your cancer center about it and have them reach out to the club to have someone come visit.
