Happy SPLURGE! Friday! Continuing with this week's theme of "bringing sunshine" to wherever you are, today's SPLURGE! Friday is an awesomely vibrant craft we have found from Artful Parent. This craft takes a little time but is well worth the effort and is a great therapeutic activity. Now lets take a look at Artful Parent's incredible Sun Catcher Craft
Here are the supplies you will need:
- Translucent plastic pony beads
- And/or glitter pony beads
- Metal cookie cutters
- Metal baking dishes, including a pie pan
- Gas grill
- Electric drill
- String
Directions:
- Arrange beads into desired shapes or position for sun catcher
- Put pans of sun catchers onto the grill, rotating carefully for about ten minutes
- Carefully remove sun catchers from their mold
- Drill single hole in sun catchers
- Tie string to each sun catcher and arrange to your liking
