Happy Friday everyone, you made it to the end of the week and now its time for a splurge! Todays splurge has been around for a while however that doesn’t make it any less comfortable and amazing! It’s the Slanket the original Blanket with Sleeves! It is 2014 and what’s the point of using a basic blanket anymore!
The Slanket is good for anyone but especially for kids going through chemo that need some comfort and to stay warm. It allows for easy movement without having readjust the blanket! It is great for travel to and from the hospital, during chemotherapy and at home.
A small tip from Teen with a Dream’s Founder Spencer Harrison [who went through chemo as a child] suggests that if possible to have 2 of these cozy accessories: one for the hospital and one for the house. He suggests this because it is the last thing anyone wants who is going through chemo, to smell the hospital scents on the Slanket at home.
