Holiday Giving Program

Happy Holidays everyone! Hard to believe it is almost the 12 days of Christmas. I hope everyone is enjoying themselves this holiday season. Here at Teen with a Dream we have a long history of some amazing programs during the holidays. Back in the early years of Teen with a Dream we created our Holiday Giving Program. Created to benefit families who because of their child’s cancer treatment they found themselves with extra financial pressure on them during the holidays. So we help them gifts for the family to help bring some joy back into their lives after cancer took so much from it. We also help with the supplies for a holiday meal. Early on we were lucky enough to partner with Whole Foods and they helped a bring joy to a family of a 7 year old leukemia patient. This year we are happy to again do our Holiday Giving Program this time with M2 Core Plus gym located in Parker. We have an amazing family who have a 13 year old girl going through treatment for ALL.

I personally love how this program makes me feel during the holidays. I started Teen with a Dream to not about provide aid, comfort and resources for all children with cancer 0 to 21, but I also wanted to bring back the joy. I feel that when there is joy there is hope. And with the kindness of strangers we can bring joy back to so many families with cancer.
