The importance of Wifi Access in Cancer Centers

Wifi Access is as needed as paper and pen these days- this is especially true  for the kids and their families stuck at the hospital everyday getting treatment for cancer.
The 8 to 10 hours is the average time frame of getting chemotherapy, it consumes most of your day. So how are you going to check your email? Or how are you going to continue schooling online? How do you get your research time in?
That is why Teen with a Dream has our internet access and laptop program for cancer centers. In this day in age it is not only the easiest way to research things, but also stay in contact with your loved ones and friend.
This was not something that was available when our founder Spencer Harrison was undergoing treatment, ultimately creating additional daily obstacles he had to consider. Because of this, it was his mission to ensure eliminating unnecessary stress.

So does your hospital have wifi access? If not reach out to us and also let your hospital know it is something that is become more and more essential to the care of your family and child.
